Mason, at age 5, had days that he enjoyed it and days that he didn't want to sit very long and sometimes he would scribble outside of the lines on purpose to try to “hurry through it”. Sometimes, it would be a Satuday (when I don't teach homeschool) and she would ask if we could do the “Bible pages” as she calls them. Miranda, at age 7, really loved it and understood it and completed each letter section quickly and was eager for the next. The teacher guide tells you what to do with each one. You can see from the photos above how there are letters (and sometimes numbers too) in each section. Sometimes the teacher guide would have me read from the Bible or hold up a Summary Card and read from it. Since it is so very easy to use, I think it would be good in a vacation Bible school or children's church setting as well. It was very simple to use for instruction purposes. I would start at the letter “A” on the page and work my way up the alphabet. I gave them each their worksheet for the lesson, had the Teacher Guide and Cards in front of me along with the Bible, pencils and crayons or sometimes colored pencils (for variety). I would sit on one side of our big dining room table with Mason on my right and Miranda on my left. I noticed that you can get these cards in various sizes to fit any group. The Bible Book Summary Cards are about 11″ x 8.5″ and help students learn the basic content and theme of every Bible book that is studied.
